ADJUDICATAION

The New York Music Experience Adjudicators are nationally recognized, experienced performers and clinicians. They are chosen according to their expertise in a specific musical style, and their ability to communicate with students.
Groups/soloists will be evaluated in the following areas:
1. Repertoire
2. Balance/Blend
3. Tone Quality
4. Intonation
5. Stylistic Interpretation & Authenticity
6. Technique
7. Language/Diction
8. Rhythmic Accuracy
9. General Performance
10. Appearance/Stage Presence
A point system will be used within these general categories.  Written and recorded comments as well as a “mini-clinic” will accompany each evaluation.
