Voice Care
Maintaining a healthy voice is key to being a good singer, no matter what style of music you like to sing. Explore how the singing voice works (basic anatomy & physiology) and how to get the most out of your instrument. Learn how singers at all levels can keep their voice going strong!

Classical
Our classical singing workshop will focus on some of the most important principles of classical singing: Registration, Resonance, Repertoire, Tradition and Song Presentation, and Solo vs. Choral Singing.

Jazz
What makes a great jazz singer? Swing, phrasing, tone quality, improvisation – these are just a few elements that define this tradition of vocal styling. Students will be taught how to vocally adapt their voices to this unique and creative style.

Musical Theatre
“Legit, Belt, Mix – this is a small part of the terminology used by today’s musical theatre professionals. NYME will provide students with important tips for setting the tone in a winning musical theatre audition/performance.

Pop/Rock
The key elements that make this style of music so exciting and original are presented using vocal exercises, audio examples and “hands-on” participation. Rhythm, tone, vibrato, range and attitude will help students and teachers ROCK ON!
